- Historical Collections Committee/Museum Committee: Responsible for collecting, cataloging, cleaning and repairing, archiving and storage of books, manuscripts, newspapers, and other historical source materials and objects.
- Hendricus Deyo Homestead Committee:
- Publicity/Publications Committee: Responsible for finding ways and means for publishing/distributing research studies, newsletters and/or bulletins, books, publicity for membership.
- Website and Online Presence Committee: Create and maintain an online presence consisting of email address(es), website, social media networking, etc.
- Historic Sites/Cemeteries Committee: Responsible for establishing the historic validity for sites proposed for recognition through markings, and to arrange tours of sites when appropriate.
- Programs: Responsible for arranging suitable programs, events, and venues. The committee shall set the time, place, and date of meetings, shall contact/coordinate program speakers

- Events Committee: Will be responsible for outreach to the larger community and organizing and recruiting help. This committee will also and will set up, clear and replenish refreshments.

- Grants and Fundraising Committee: Responsible for finding and writing grants, creating fundraising drives and events, securing financial and in-kind support from local businesses and individual donors.
- Membership Committee: Responsible for creating membership drives and events, and processing new candidates for membership.
- Nominations Committee: Responsible to identify and make nominations for officers and members of the board of trustees. The nomination committee shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees and shall consist of one officer, one trustee, and one member who is not an officer or trustee.
